SEMI ISS – Snapshot of a Wild Ride – Other Coverage

Michael Splinter (Applied Materials) - Relative industry cost improvements and volumes.

I hope that my summaries of the first day of SEMI Industry Strategy Symposium (ISS) 2012 in

provided useful insights to the economic roller coaster that is the semiconductor market and its equipment and material supply chain. There have also been several good reports from others at conference worth sharing:

Michael Fury at ElectroIQ has published these detailed summaries:

Pete Singer, the ElectroIQ Editor-in-Chief, summarizes the economic overview in ISS: Top Ten Economic Trends in 2012.

SEMI has also provided a short write-up of the ISS here along with these video interviews by Debra Vogler.

Now that the reporting is finished for the informative presentations at ISS, it is critical to turn this data into actionable plans. I am busy working on strategies for my clients. How about you?

If there is something from ISS that you would like to discuss in greater detail, please let me know via email or comments below.
